Dr. Patel is accredited with multiple degrees to his name. He did his Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Saurashtra University, his Doctorate of philosophy (PHD) in Project Management from Halifax University, Masters in valuation of real estate and agriculture from Gujarat University, Masters of Valuation in Plant and Machinery from Churu University. He has completed Bachelors of law from Gujarat University and is also Pursuing LLM (masters of law) from Gujarat University.

He has been practicing as a civil engineering consultant, property valuer, real estate developer and a legal Advisor in real estate sector of India. He is a member of many professional and honorable organizations, naming a few:
